Our new Crucifix arrived on April 7, 2011 from Italy.  It was custom made for our parish at Demetz Art Studio and shipped in two boxes.  Through the efforts of volunteers, the Crucifix was installed without incident with the help of Russ Pichette who provided the the materials needed to hang the 135 pound Crucifix from the rafters of the church.  The dream of having a Crucifix in our Church became a reality through the benevolence of the Plichta Family.  Fr. Felicain Plichta, OFM, Conv. was a priest at this parish from 1982 until his death on October 12, 1999.  His prayers are still at work in our Parish.
